I myself own a contracting company so my first thought was to handle my roofing project with the Insurance company myself, how hard could it be. To my surprise my insurance company denied the replacement of my 15 year old cedar shake roof. By chance I shared my story with a neighborhood friend of mine who recommended that I call The Other Brothers, who dealt with their similar situation and received a brand new roof. I decided to swallow my pride and give them a call, with much encouragement from my wife, and boy am I glad I did. I had already had an approval from my insurance company upon contracting with The Other Brothers to repair my roof. After my first meeting with my project leader Luke, I could tell he knew the ins and outs of his trade. Since my insurance company only agreed to replace specific tiles, Luke asked me to allow him to schedule a reinspection with the insurance adjuster. Much to our dismay we found out that the insurance company was going to replace my broken tiles with tiles that did not match in color, style, or texture as my tile had been discontinued years ago. This was the point where I knew that I needed to hand this over to The Other Brothers to handle. It was not long after that I received an email from Luke informing me that I was going to be receiving an entire new roof, repairs to my A/C unit, and repair and painting work on my stucco.
